Everyone is welcome at M&S. No exceptions. It’s your background, abilities and differences that make you, uniquely you. And when you’re part of M&S, that individuality has the potential to make waves.
This section tells you all you need to know about the position and its responsibilities, outlining everything we hope to see in a successful candidate.
To stay close to our customers and colleagues, our support teams are in the office for at least three days a week as we believe that skills are developed through collaboration, and that spending time together makes us more creative and connected.
As a Business Architect, you’ll be part of a forward-thinking Architecture team that’s helping to modernise one of the UK’s most iconic brands. Our technology solutions serve millions of customers and empower thousands of colleagues every year—and we’re investing strategically to ensure M&S continues to lead through innovation.
In this role, you’ll bring deep business and process expertise within a dynamic retail environment, helping shape how we connect strategic objectives to real-world outcomes. You’ll ensure clear visibility from vision to execution, guiding prioritisation decisions that balance ambition with financial impact.
We’re looking for someone creative, pragmatic and curious—someone who thrives in empowered, self-managing teams. You’ll collaborate across architecture, platform and engineering to scope, design and support products and platforms that solve complex problems for our customers and colleagues. If you’re ready to influence the future of retail through elegant, robust solutions, M&S is the place to make your mark.
Due to high interest, this role may close earlier than advertised. We recommend applying as soon as possible.
